How do I know your company is qualified to help me?

Here, you can see all of our coaching qualifications; including 20+ years of collective experience, graduate level education (both owners have a MA degree in Exercise Science related fields you can read about by clicking the link above), and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) recertification and CEUs through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)

How much time do I have to commit each week in order to achieve results?

Outside of the basic requirements you can commit as much or as little extra time as you want. Just remember, you get out what you put in.

The current Physical Activity Guidelines of America suggest adults need ~150 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise per week (with at least 2 days of "muscle strengthening activity"). This equates to, at a minimum, committing only 30 minutes per day to resistance training and most meal preparation can take less than 1 hour per week.

The A.R.C. Method was made specifically for those who want to finally achieve long sought after health and physique goals without having to compromise their entire lifestyle. Time is of the essence and using that time wisely is priority number one throughout the 90 days. 

Throughout the duration of the program you'll receive additional informative videos to help give you an overall picture on why you are doing what you are doing along with ways on how to make related tasks nearly automated. This information is sent out weekly to align with each stage of your journey but also never expires so you'll always be able to come back to it.

How restrictive will my diet have to be in order to achieve results?

With access to a nutrition database consisting of over 50+ low calorie, high protein recipes that taste great, it's hard to imagine your diet ever has to become restrictive.

Additionally, the use of flexible dieting and evidence based habit formation allow you to continue enjoying the foods you love while still making progress on your goals. The trick here is accurately accounting for energy in versus energy out.

Evidence indicates humans are not that great at accurately reporting their true energy intake and energy expenditure. In one study, underreporting actual calories consumed by ~50% and overestimating total daily energy expenditure (TDEE) by ~30-50%.

Amongst other tools you'll be introduced to inside these next 90 days, perhaps most importantly, you'll be shown how to properly account for these variables and work towards near nutrition automation as you embrace this new lifestyle.

Will there will be hours of cardio required each week to achieve fat loss results?

Contrary to popular belief, cardio is not actually required for fat loss. Especially when you look at how much time you would spend trying to perform additional cardio to "burn off a cheat meal".

Depending on the agreed upon rate of weight loss between you and your coach, cardio will be implemented when necessary to ensure appropriate progress is made. 

An oversimplification for this is that fat loss comes from expending more energy in a given time period than the energy you consume via food. Therefore, if your total daily energy expenditure (TDEE) is more than the total energy you consume, no cardio is required. The Nutrition eBook you'll get instantly after signing up details this process even further for a more complete understanding.

However, as progress begins to slow down, using cardio is an effective tool to help stimulate further weight loss while limiting additional fatigue. What type of cardio (e.g. HIIT vs. LISS) will be determined once you and your coach discuss other variables like time constraints, recovery, and adherence.

How long will it take me to reach my goal(s)?

The length will vary based on a multitude of factors such as your adherence to the program, how quickly you consistently implement the techniques and tasks provided, and the level of effort you put into each session.

Throughout the 90 days, as long as you provide the necessary effort, you will see physical results that align with evidence based weight loss (0.5-1% of BW) or weight gain (0.25-0.5% of BW) recommendations. However, these weekly numbers can vary based on initial body composition, your desired rate of weight loss or gain, and the length of time you've been in a caloric deficit or surplus.

You can use the calculator found above to input your current and goal bodyweight in order to see how much of your actual goal could be achieved in 90, 180, or 365 days.

Additionally, the 90 days will serve as a period of time to develop specific actionable habits that, when paired with the right monitoring tools, allow you to sustain your healthier lifestyle once you've completed the A.R.C. Method.

Are there food choices that can fit my specific nutritional needs (e.g. low carb, vegetarian/vegan, etc.)?

Included in the over 50+ low calorie, high protein recipes are vegetarian/vegan options along with a variety of low carbohydrate meal choices.

With multiple systems created to simplify your nutrition inside The A.R.C. Method, you'll also have access to over 80+ unique pre-made meal plan options based on when you workout (i.e. morning, afternoon, night), how complex you'd like meal prep to be (e.g. simple preparation or most food variety), and nutritional preferences like low carbohydrate or "no meat" options.

Is there a limit to how often I can check in with my coach?

You have unlimited access to reach out to your coach via the agreed upon medium (email and/or text).

You'll also get to check in bi-weekly, held over Zoom, where you'll have a chance to discuss how the previous week went, plan how to improve or continue making progress the next week, and get any additional questions you may have answered on the spot (unless more research is necessary for an adequate response).

The accountability and priceless information that comes through these interactions with an experienced professional is why we require them to be completed weekly.

This being said, in order to ensure full transparency throughout this section, “results” will be simply defined as any outcome that puts the client in a more advantageous position towards reaching their goals than they were before starting. 

This could include being provided physical and informative resources that provide information on how to manipulate their macronutrients or caloric balance (found in the APS Nutrition eBook) or it can be tangible physical results seen via required assessment metrics (e.g., daily bodyweight measurements, bi-weekly anthropomorphic measurements). 

The reason for this is that no matter of coaching or resource access will physically make someone put in the required actions in order to see results over an online medium (e.g., online coaching). It is at the sole discretion of the client who, by agreeing to these terms and conditions, does so under the fact agreeing that they are autonomous in their actions and responsible for using the information and services provided to achieve desired results. 

Additionally, for each client to prove or disprove what is and what isn’t considered results will be determined by whether or not they completed all requirements listed below (under “requirements include”)

60 day guarantee - As long as the client satisfies the requirements listed below (under “requirements include:”), they will have up to sixty (60) days from the date they submit payment to request for their money back if they are at all unsatisfied with the service and results they receive in regard to “The A.R.C. Method” service.

Given the costs associated with onboarding a new client and the Intellectual Property (IP) found in every aspect of our coaching service, the compensation structure, if a submitted request is approved, for the sixty (60) day money back guarantee is as follows:

  • Refund requested within thirty (30) days = 75% of the client's initial payment being reimbursed if all requirements are met and just cause is proven using our Refund Policy section as a guideline

  • Refund requested within sixty (60) days = 50% of the client's initial payment being reimbursed if all requirements are met and just cause is proven using our Refund Policy section as a guideline

In each scenario the client has the opportunity to see more of the program than they are obligated to pay for if their refund request is approved. 

For example, 30 days is ~33.3% of “The A.R.C. Method” program. The client gets to keep all resources and information received in those 30 days but only 25% of the initial cost is kept to account for operating costs up to that. Likewise, 60 days is ~66.7% of “The A.R.C. Method” program but, if a refund request is approved, only 50% of the initial cost is kept to account for operating costs up to that point.

30 day guarantee -  As long as the client satisfies the requirements listed below (under “requirements include:”), they will have up to thirty (30) days from the date they submit payment to request for their money back if they are at all unsatisfied with the service and results they receive in regard to our Comprehensive Coaching service. 

Given the costs associated with onboarding a new client, the Intellectual Property (IP) found in every aspect of our coaching service, and the initial 14 day trial period before any payment has to be submitted, the compensation structure for the thirty (30) day money back guarantee is as follows:

  • Refund requested within thirty (30) days = 50% of the client's initial payment being reimbursed if all requirements are met and just cause is proven using our Refund Policy section as a guideline.

All other services (Nutrition or Training Only coaching) provided do not come with a guarantee but do come with up to a 14 day trial before any payment is due.

The same goes for the Train w/ APS Platinum (7 day trial) and Platinum + (14 day trial) subscriptions.

Requirements include:

  • 100% completion of all required and agreed upon data entry and tasks given (up to 60 days worth)

    • Daily Bodyweight AM/PM

    • Daily Steps

    • Actual daily macronutrient consumption

    • All training data input through a third party app (TrainHeroic)

    • All “monitoring variables” on the “monitoring variables” tab found on Google Sheets

    • Daily Habits Checklist

    • Weekly actionable tasks given by your coach (walk 7500 steps this week, meal prep meals since you don’t have time during the week to cook, couple habits together to make cardio more entertaining, etc.)

    • Weekly Questionnaires

  • Providing objective, reasonable grounds/evidence that no services were actually rendered (e.g., weekly questionnaires not provided, training and nutrition programming not completed on time, coaches not answering questions or lacking communication throughout programming, precise adherence yielding nowhere near expected results, etc.) 

  • Provide third-party proof of data entry with time stamps (e.g., have a dated written food log, use a food tracking application, or a Bluetooth scale that stores the daily weigh ins)

If all of these requirements are not met you will be subject to the terms laid out on your initial payment agreement that you were provided and required to sign.

The bottom line is this; if you do everything we ask and provide the data we need to make efficient and effective coaching decisions for you, you will see results. Guaranteed (in accordance with our Refund Policy).

Informed Consent and Liability Statement


I hereby acknowledge that I understand the training programs, nutrition recommendations/diet templates, and consultations given by JC Aesthetics LLC through Adaptive Performance Systems (APS) are recommendations and are not medical necessities or mandatory prescriptions. 

By signing up for and paying for any and all services offered by Adaptive Performance Systems I waive the right to legal action against JC Aesthetics LLC or any consultants of JC Aesthetics LLC (including APS), and I also acknowledge that there are health risks associated with undergoing dieting for physical-alteration, resistance training, and any exercise related program. 

By signing up for and paying for any and all services offered by Adaptive Performance Systems I waive liability of JC Aesthetics LLC, APS, and their consultants per undesired results and any injury/adverse health effects from any recommendations, consultations, training or nutrition programing and for any/all activities associated with JC Aesthetics LLC and APS.

By signing up for and paying for any and all services offered by Adaptive Performance Systems I do hereby waive, release, and forever discharge and hold harmless JC Aesthetics LLC and its owner, consultants, trainers and anyone associated with JC Aesthetics LLC from any and all responsibility, liability, cost and expenses, including injuries or damages, resulting from my participation in any activities, or my use of any programs (including nutrition and training templates), recommendations or consultations designed and offered by JC Aesthetics LLC through APS.

By signing up for and paying for any and all services offered by Adaptive Performance Systems I am also acknowledging that I understand the risks associated with beginning an exercise program and dietary intervention and hereby forever waive the right to sue or take legal action against JC Aesthetics LLC and its consultants per any health issues or injuries from adhering to any of the recommendations given by JC Aesthetics LLC through APS and its consultants. Furthermore, I also acknowledge that no results are guaranteed (see Guarantee Terms and Conditions), and I also understand training programs and diet templates are not to be shared with anyone either electronically or in person and are intended for me individually.

By signing up for and paying for any and all services offered by Adaptive Performance Systems I commit to keep training programs and diet plans confidential. I also acknowledge that I am suffering from no condition, impairment, disease, infirmity or other illness that would affect the metabolism of nutrients or prevent my participation in an exercise program. I acknowledge JC Aesthetics LLC via APS has recommended that I obtain a medical doctor's approval for my participation in any exercise program or the use of exercise equipment. Additionally, I acknowledge that JC Aesthetics LLC and APS have recommended that I have a yearly or more frequent physical examination and consultation with my doctor related to physical activity/exercise and use of exercise equipment so that I might have his/her recommendations concerning these activities.

I acknowledge that I have either had a physical examination and been given my doctors permission to participate, or that I have decided to participate in activity and use of exercise equipment and programs/consultations designed/given by JC Aesthetics LLC through APS without the approval of my doctor and do hereby assume all responsibility for my participation in any and all activities related to the aforementioned specifications/any exercise or dietary intervention. In addition, I hereby represent and certify that I am currently covered by an accident and health insurance policy.

Additionally, I acknowledge that I am expected to do the following and understand that any affiliate of JC Aesthetics LLC can terminate programming services if reasonable attention isn't given to these expectations at any time:

- Adhere closely to training programs and nutritional recommendations
- Report scale weight to consultant as requested by consultant (minimum 3x/week; 7x/week PREFERRED)
- Provide answers to weekly questionnaire(s) each week.
- Fill in training app with weight used in training, RIR/RPE, and other variables asked in order to monitor progress
- Fill in nutrition sheets with pertinent and accurate data required to ensure effective and efficient coaching decisions (e.g., reporting bodyweight weigh ins and calorie/macronutrient intake)
- Communicate regularly with consultant, including but not limited to 1x/week check in with progress pictures if applicable
- Use Cronometer app (or agreed upon food diary) to track calories and macronutrient intake

By signing up for and paying for any and all services offered by Adaptive Performance Systems you are agreeing to everything listed in its entirety throughout this document. Additionally, you have the right to request that you sign an electronic or paper copy instead. By signing up for and paying for any and all services offered by Adaptive Performance Systems, you are waiving that right. After consent, you may, upon written request to us, obtain a paper copy of an electronic record. No fee will be charged for such copy and no special hardware or software is required to view it. Your agreement to use an electronic signature will continue until such time as you notify us in writing that you no longer wish to use an electronic signature. There is no penalty for withdrawing your consent. You should always make sure that we have a current email address in order to contact you regarding any changes, if necessary.
